How it works

One connection, then work in conversation

01

Add the remote server

Point your MCP client at SlideWeave's hosted endpoint. Nothing runs on your own server.

02

Approve the access you need

Sign in to SlideWeave and choose read-only access or permission to create and edit presentations.

03

Work from your agent

Ask the agent to draft a deck, revise an existing one or retrieve the current source before making a change.

Capabilities

Presentation work, exposed as tools

The MCP server handles the presentation operation. Your agent still decides what to write and when to call it.

List and read decks

Find presentations in the connected account and retrieve editable ZiraDocs source when access allows it.

Create and publish

Send complete ZiraDocs source and receive a hosted presentation with a stable viewer link.

Update in place

Replace the source and publish a new version without changing the presentation's URL.

Prevent stale overwrites

Every read returns a checksum. An outdated edit is rejected instead of replacing someone else's newer work.

Move to trash

Deletion moves a presentation to trash. Agents should request a clear confirmation before using it.

Use scoped OAuth

The connection uses your SlideWeave account and only receives the presentation permissions you approve.

The agent receives permission, not your password

You authorize the connection in SlideWeave. The MCP client receives scoped presentation access and never receives your Google or Microsoft credentials.

Secure sign-in

Authorization happens in SlideWeave through OAuth, without copying passwords or API keys into a chat.

You choose the scope

Grant read access for reviewing decks and write access only when the agent needs to create or edit.

Revoke at any time

Disconnect the client from Connected apps to invalidate its active authorizations and tokens.

Client compatibility

Connect the agent you already use

SlideWeave provides a remote MCP endpoint with Streamable HTTP and OAuth. We distinguish what we have tested from integrations that depend on client setup.

CVerified

Claude

We tested the full OAuth flow in claude.ai and Claude Code: create, read, update and delete a presentation.

GCustom app

ChatGPT

ChatGPT supports MCP-based apps; availability depends on plan, workspace, and app configuration.

CXVerified

Codex

We tested the complete OAuth flow to create, read, update, and delete a presentation.

MCPStandard endpoint

Other MCP clients

Available to clients that support remote servers through Streamable HTTP and OAuth.

Create your first presentation with MCP

Connect a compatible client, approve its permissions, and turn a request into a published deck from the conversation.
